Dear Mrs. Chantal Vothanh and members of Association Compassion,
My name is Nguyễn Thanh Hải and I live in Bảo Lộc.
I set all my hopes on your compassion to help me get out of a difficult situation. I was born in 1976, went to school up to 10th. grade, it was then I had the polio, shortly after that my father passed away and my mother raised me all by herself. In 1997, the Bảo Lộc association of the handicapped introduced me to the professional school for the handicapped where I enrolled in a 2-year computer program.
When I returned home, I got an apprenticeship without salary nor any food compensation in a small shop, 2 months after, my mother got sick, life has become too harsh for us, she is 68 years old and her frail health prevents her from working. Seeing us in this situation, the neighbors helped us set up a small shop to sell candies, which is barely enough for us to survive.
Thanks to my friend Minh Đài, who lives in Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu, I've learned about your association and would like to ask for your financial assistance to expand my small shop so that my mother and I can earn a living.
I look forward to hearing from you and wish you good health and happiness.
Sincerely,
Nguyễn Thanh Hải
